  • Boring, meandering and disjointed series

This series can’t seem to define a through line for its narrative. The intro episode details the crime very quickly and sets up the characters. The next two episodes seem disjointed and focus on the two suspects, though not in a very cohesive way. The rest of the series seems to try and shoehorn in all the cliches of recent true crime media (questionable representation, biased justice system, missed leads), though never giving enough screen time or information on any aspect of these concepts. Also, the intro song is twice as loud as the episode volumes, so be prepared to mute it every time it sneaks up. Long, boring and unevenly paced. I do not recommend this show.
  • Our system is so broken

Once the police have someone on the hook, that's the end. A young, nieave guy from another country was minipulated by a sociopath. What makes me sick to my stomach is there is so much evidence to show Jan had nothing to do with these murders, including DNA and hes still rotting in prison. Disgusting, is all I can say for our justice system.
