Description

Killing Eve centers on two women: Eve is a bored, whip-smart, security services operative whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy. Villanelle is a talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her. Killing Eve topples the typical spy thriller as these women, obsessed with each other, go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.

What a concept. The adds didn’t tell a lot of the story line. Fantastic change of pace.
  • Give Hannibal some credit

The whole agent hunting the serial killer and it ends up being a love story was done first by the TV show Hannibal. I'm not complaining because the idea is brilliant enough for more than one TV show, but I think somekind of aknowledgement to Hannibal would be nice, hence this review by me.
  • SANDRA OH DOES IT AGAIN

One word; six letters; A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Sandra Oh shows the world what it’s like to track down a serial murderous-like assassin, and pry into the mind, and the mystery behind one of the most intricate and well thought out antagonists in a television series...ever! Sandra Oh doesn’t act like Eve, she is Eve Polastri. The show is brilliantly directed, with a creative plot that keeps the viewer begging for more. By far has to be one of the best works by Sandra Oh since her outstanding performance as Dr. Christina Yang on ABC’s Grey's Anatomy. Well worth the money. You will finish watching just wishing you could buy more!

I recognized the lead from Arli$$on hbo So I gave it a chance ignoring internet reviews or how many tomatoes it had I watched one episode then forgot later I saw it pop up on a suggestion and was like “oh yeah then before I knew it it was the next day and I was left wanting more!! So decided to rewatch Arli$$ while I wait for a new season.

  • Absolutely Disappointing

I watched the first episode and felt it looked promising so I purchased the remainder of the season (this was before I realized I could have watched it for free on HULU). HUGE MISTAKE! Honestly, If KILLING EVE is rated as one of the best shows of 2018, that's really not saying much about the state of television today. The writing and acting are mediocre at best. All the plot lines, twist and turns, and developments are irritatingly predicable. You don't even have to think about what's going to happen next because the storyline is so poorly crafted you already know way ahead of time where the characters are headed. Sandra Oh's character EVE is unbelievably dumb, but the producers want you to believe that all the stupid things she gets away with could actually happen in the real world, especially in Russia. Don't waste your money.
