Witness the origin story of one of legend’s most captivating figures in the action-adventure, Dracula Untold. The year is 1462 and Transylvania has enjoyed a prolonged period of peace under the just and fair rule of the battle-weary Vlad III, the prince of Wallachia (Luke Evans, Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit series). But when Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper, Captain America: The First Avenger) demands 1,000 of Wallachia’s boys – including Vlad’s own son – become child soldiers in his army, Vlad must enter into a Faustian bargain to save his family and his people. He gains the strength of 100 men, the speed of a falling star, and the power to crush his enemies. In exchange, he’s inflicted with an insatiable thirst for human blood that could force him into a life of darkness and destroy all that he holds dear.

From beginning to end it kept my interest. The very last scene make me wish there was more to come.

  • The absolute best Dracula movie ever made

You must flatly ignore the nonsense from Tomatoes and the newspaper hack writers. They are looking for a gore-fest spook show, and intelligent movies such as this are clearly not something that appeal to them. As for Dracula Untold, I have seen just about every Dracula movie ever made and this film is the BEST BY FAR. It is truly _definitive_. The story is excellent. The acting is great, as is the direction, editing and FX. There is serious character develpment here – at a depth never before seen. My only critism is trite: the real Dracul impaled Turks and no one else. He did not fight for them. Other than this minor item, I can't praise this film enough. This is the one Dracula you must buy. You will watch it at least once a year. Kudos to everyone involved in this film. Well done!

I’m a horror lover and I don’t normally do well with “remixes “ but this version, making Dracula the hero is AMAZING!!!!

I am so happy that I found this movie again. I fell in love with this movie. Time and time again I continuously enjoy watching this movie. No matter what critics say. It's best to watch the movie itself. I can watch this movie over and over and still never get enough. Perfect acting and wonderful scenes filled with emotions. Experience the movie yourself instead of what "tomatometer" says. Everyone has their own captivating experience when watching movies like these. I wish there was another part to know more. 10/10 100% A+ 5 Stars Full heart this movie is amazing.

Being Romanian and having grown up hearing a variety of stories it was a welcomed experience watching a movie about Vlad Tepes Dracula that had some historical accuracy and well depicted phantasy aspect of Bram’s original story. Great casting and my only hang up is the British accents.... not even close to Romanian.
  • Very disappointing!

Being a fan of vampire movies I was really excited about this one, after 20 minutes or so I lost an interest. Very weak movie!
  • By another name

Call this by another name and it would be an excellent movie. Stunning visuals, good acting but this is not Dracula. There are some villains who were provoked into their situation but with Dracula that was never the case. Even in the 90s version with Ryder and Oldman it was done wrong. Let us stop romantasizing characters of brute nature.
  • Best Dracula movie ever!!

I absolutely loved this movie and cannot wait to see the sequel. The critics had this movie wrong, it deserves at least 85 to 90 on rotten tomatoes
