  • Surprisingly good sci-fi

Yes it’s a low budget sci-fi, but not overly so that you can’t get over it and enjoy the movie. If you like time travel type movies this is up your alley. I wish they explained a bit more in the ending, but overall I enjoyed this. Good, simple sci-fi premise.

One of my favorite movies of all time. And it’s a low budget movie!! I only noticed in the first 15 minutes that it was of a different quality. But once the movie got going, I didn’t notice one bit. Great acting, action, plot twists, and a Goonies like feeling to it. Great movie and for the whole family too!
  • Better Than Camp, in both senses of the word

Initially thought this was going to be sloppy campy sci-fi with no redeemable characters or thought involved. Not at all! It was incredible the amount of atmosphere they could create with such spare use of effects. They get you thoroughly weirded out by some gaffer (or whatever) with a light fixture by simply building the tension and doing it just right, then when it's time to splurge on effects at the right moment, they put em where it counts. Excellent, eerie, and satisfying! Also, I love that the protagonist is drawn like a real live human being, not just a stereotypical damsel in distress or survivor girl.
  • No really great characters

No one in this movie stood out as a character to like or root for to survive. It was just okay.

The cave people were the only fictional beings in the movie.

I don't get all the positivity here, this was really bad. Syfy channel-esque along with terrible effects. You can pull off clever low budget sci-fi but this one relied too much on badly done computer graphics.
  • Kids film

Although the story was excellent, this movie was made for kids. The dialogue is so cheesy ( after learning of danger, character says “ but I had a date this weekend”). That’s just ruined ruined a tense moment. Funny if your 12 yrs old.
  • A syfy adventure

A fun and original syfy movie the entire family will enjoy. The acting is good, story is creative and intriguing. The ending demands a part two for more answers. Please make a part two!!!!!

Loved the music. The person who did the musical scores is good. Its not a lost film type of movie. It has lost film but its still shot well. The actors and actresses did well. No big name hollywood thankfully. The twist at the end is good. The film ended on a good and positive note. No negative dystopian future garbage. Worth the money spent. If your looking for A-list actors and hollywood budget this movie may not be for you. A fun movie.
