From visionary filmmaker Spike Lee comes the incredible true story of an American hero. In the early 1970s, Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) becomes the first African-American detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a difference, he bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. He recruits a seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation. Together, they team up to take down the extremist organization aiming to garner mainstream appeal. Produced by the team behind the Academy Award®–winning Get Out, BlacKkKlansman offers an unflinching, true-life examination of race relations in 1970s America that is just as relevant in today's tumultuous world.

  • Amazing movie

Watched this with my girlfriend and boy was I tuned in ! Great movie
  • Ending ruins it

I enjoyed this movie because it didn’t just shove “racism is bad” down our throats for two hours (like Green book *cough cough*). It told a crazy, sometimes funny story about a true event and how dangerous it is when bad people are given power. However, trying to connect present day to what happened many years ago and saying it’s the same thing is ridiculous.
  • Poorly written, poorly directed

  • It was ok.

It was a weird juxtaposition of drama and comedy. Making David Duke out to be some kind of Ron Burgundy character I thought weakened the movie and subject matter. But it’s an interesting story.
  • An excellent movie.

  • Another Political Piece of Trash

I liked the movie until they started putting in Trump campaign slogans and little bits and pieces here and there relating to Trump. Quit trying to shove your political views and agenda down our throats Hollywood.
