Description

When four lifelong friends-Regina Hall, Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah-travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival, sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, and there's enough dancing, drinking, brawling and romancing to make the Big Easy blush.

I saw a few movies in the past 6-9 months, The Post, Three Billboards, Lady Bird, all were "meh", the one I wasn't sure I wanted to see, but went with a friend anyway was Girls Trip and it was hands down THE BEST of all of them. It was funny, sweet and what can you say about Tiffany H.? I didn't know her work before I saw her in this, but I'm now a fan, all of the actresses were great as well, truly enjoyed it!!

Not great, but good. Not sure why Tiffany Haddish was the breakout star of the movie, but ok. Typical feel good movie for sistas.

SHOULD DEFINITELY WATCH THIS IF YOU WANNA JUST LAUGH OUT OF CONTROL!! Such a funny movie! When I was watching it in the cinema, my popcorn was flying from laughter. The whole theater was laughing. Tiffany Haddish is amazingly hilarious and she makes this movie.
  • Bigotry Masked as Comedy

This film is rife with bigotry masked as comedy. It would be a complete and utter disgrace if modern white people behaved this way in a film toward people of color! The modern world doesn’t need more hatred and bigotry. It needs unity.
  • too awful for words (no stars)

Crude, plotless and plain stupid. That's enough.
