Amazing story, amazing effects but the actors and lines are so distractingly let bad that it’s painful to watch
  • Worst movie of all times

I can’t even begin to explain why this movie is the worst movie ever made. The acting is horrible, the story is totally not interesting, the look is a wannabe Cameron look but completely wrong. I wanted both main characters to die throughout the whole movie.
  • Oddly Addictive and Enchanting

It’s one of those movies you don’t really like at first and then it grows on you. Little touches and scenes keep popping up that make Valerian more and more a re-watchable movie. I now have the movie AND the audiobook in my collection.
  • It was alright

Most people watch sci-fi to see cool effects and tech. 5 stars in that department. I wish it was more serious and not trying to do comedy where it kinda fails on the story line. But ending was good and the movie was not boring. It's watchable for a few times.

You feel nothing for the characters. It was painful to watch, I really wanted to give it a chance. At the end I was like “that’s it? Oh god that was dumb”.

Visuals were cool and had all kinds of potential. Two lead characters just didn’t fit the futuristic aura and the boy and girl against the universe is well played out. No dialogue and no chemistry. So much potential.
  • Pretty bad, pretty awful.

The CGI acted better than the human cast. A grand spectacle devoid of charm and panache. Atrocious acting throughout - especially the title character. Disastrous waste of time.
  • Good concept, bad execution

The movie was overall good but way too long. They could have cut about 45 minutes of the “romance” scenes as it did nothing for the plot. cara delevingne just isn’t a very good actress and at the parts she could have shined failed too with cheesy acting.
